August 14 @ 2:30 pm - 8:00 pm
On Friday August 14th Hentze Family Farm is hosting a Farm Dinner featuring Noble Estate wines.
Hentze Family Farm Owner, Patrick, is teaming up with Chef Isaiah Martinez to celebrate the bounty of our beloved South Willamette Valley by offering a 3 course farm dinner, with 5 paired wines from Noble Estate. Choose from 2 Seating Options: 2:30-5:00 PM and 6:00-8:30 PM. With the abundance of space that the Hentze Farm “dining room” offers (the shade of the 100 year old walnut trees) we feel that they can offer an unparalleled, and anxiety free, event experience.
Starting with a grilled/marinated squash salad, with mixed herbs from our garden, preserved lemon aioli, olive oil and ricotta salata to begin. This will be paired with Noble Estate’s Rose Pinot Noir and a Pinot Gris.
The main course will feature cherry wood (from Hentze Family Farm’s cherry orchard, naturally) smoked chicken to be accompanied by a summer succotash. To accompany this we will have Noble Estate’s Chardonnay and Vineyard Select Pinot Noir.
And then we’ll finish with a stonefruit clafoutis, cream, jaggery, and mixed island spice. August is when the local peaches and nectarines will sing with flavor. A semi-sweet and effervescent wine, the Noble Estate Muscat will finish our pairing selections.
Tables are all separated by 10 feet or more. Groups will be socially distanced and have no contact with other groups, masks will be required at all times when you are not at your table.
